The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 68 (Sen. Polehanki), SB 87 (Sen. Wojno), SB 88 (Sen. Hauck), SB 96 (Sen. Moss), SB 97 (Sen. Hauck), SB 98 (Sen. McMorrow). 2. Reported SB 68 (Sen. Polehanki), SB 87 (Sen. Wojno), SB 88 (Sen. Hauck), SB 96 (Sen. Moss), SB 97 (Sen. Hauck), SB 98 (Sen. McMorrow)with recommendations. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Singh, Hauck, Webber, and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion from Sen. Polehanki to adopt the meeting minutes from February 13, 2025. Without objection the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Senator Polehanki to explain SB 68. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 68: Brett Wisner, Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association - Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committing regarding SB 68: Shelly Stahl, Anheuser Busch – Support Scott Graham, Michigan Brewers Guild – Neutral David Marvin, Michigan Liquor Control Commission - Neutral The Chair entertained a motion from Senator to report SB 68 to the floor with the recommendation that the bill pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Singh, Hauck, Webber, Bellino Nays: None The Chair invited Senators Wojno and Hauck to explain SB 87 and SB 88. Nays: None The Chair entertained a motion from Senator to report SB 88 to the floor with the recommendation that the bill pass. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 96, SB 97, and SB 98: Rob Mass, MiLEAP – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committing regarding SB 96, SB 97, and SB 98: Brian O'Connell, Lockout USA – Support The Chair entertained a motion from Senator to report SB 96 to the floor with the recommendation that the bill pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Singh, Hauck, Webber, Bellino Nays: None The Chair entertained a motion from Senator to report SB 97 to the floor with the recommendation that the bill pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Singh, Hauck, Webber, Bellino Nays: None The Chair entertained a motion from Senator to report SB 98 to the floor with the recommendation that the bill pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Singh, Hauck, Webber, Bellino Nays: None The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members. Without objection, Senators Hertel and Lauwers were excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
