BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-5100 FAX: (517) 373-5115 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 27, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Energy and Environment was scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Adopted the Committee Rules. 2. Presentation from ITC regarding Transmission Infrastructure. The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) Singh, Bayer, Shink, Polehanki, Damoose, Hauck, and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to adopt the committee rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) Singh, Bayer, Shink, Polehanki, Damoose, Hauck, and Bellino Nays: None The motion prevailed and the rules were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, Lauwers, and Outman were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited Chuck Marshall, President of ITC Michigan and Vice President of ITC Holdings Corp., and Tony Mosesso, Manager of State Government Affairs at ITC Holdings Corp., to give a presentation regarding transmission infrastructure. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee. Without objection, the committee was adjourned at 2:16 p.m.
