BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7918 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 06, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Appropriations Subcommittee on PreK-12 was scheduled for Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room of the 3rd Floor The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Sen.(s) Polehanki, Hertel, Klinefelt, Cavanagh, Bayer, Theis and Albert The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Hertel, supported by Senator Klinefelt, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Senator Camilleri was excused from the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Cavanagh, supported by Senator Bayer, to adopt the meeting minutes from April 16, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Governor's recommendation for the FY 2025-26 School Aid budget.: Ryan Bergan, Senate Fiscal Agency There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Senator Hertel, to adjourn the committee at 12:42 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
