BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-0142 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 13, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government was scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Room 1200 of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:31 p.m. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cherry, Sen.(s) Bayer, Klinefelt, Albert and Hauck. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Bayer, supported by Senator Klinefelt, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 27, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Department of Attorney General FY 2025-26 Budget Recommendation: Attorney General, Dana Nessel Legislative Liaison, Ashley Steffen There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee at 2:20 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
