BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7748 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 19, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Appropriations Subcommittee on LEO/MEDC was scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Room 1200 of the Binsfeld Office Building The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McCann, McMorrow, Cherry, and Huizenga The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Huizenga, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 12, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding MSHDA: Amy Hover At 3:15 p.m., Senator McCann entered the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Wage & Hour: Sean Egan Jayshona Hicks The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding CDFIs: Jenifer Hayes Elissa Sangalli Eddie Carington The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Schools to Tolls: Stephen Purchase The Chair entertained a motion by Senator McCann, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Senators Camilleri and Bumstead were excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, to adjourn the committee at 4:09 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
