BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2426 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 20, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Corrections and Judiciary was scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Room 1300 of the Binsfeld Office Building The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:39pm. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Shink, Sen.(s) Irwin and Outman The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Irwin, supported by Senator Outman to adopt the meeting minutes from March 13, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2025-26 Executive Budget Recommendation: Chief Justice Elizabeth Clement At 2:27 p.m., Senator Santana entered the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2025-26 Executive Budget Recommendation: Court of Appeals Chief Judge Gadola There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion to adjourn the subcommittee at 2:38 p.m. Without objection, the subcommittee was adjourned.
