BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-0142 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 20, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government was scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Room 1200 of the Binsfeld Office Building The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:31 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Sens. Cherry, Bayer, Klinefelt, Albert, and Hauck. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Cherry, supported by Senator Bayer, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 13, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2025-26 Executive Recommendation for the Department of Civil Rights Department Director Dr. John E. Johnson Abdel Aly, Director of Financial and Management Services Marcelina Trevino, Director of Enforcement The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2025-6 Executive Recommendation of the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget: Director Michelle Lange Laura Clark, Chief Information Officer At 2:35 p.m., Sen. Bayer left the meeting. At 2:37 p.m., Sen. Hauck left the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bayer, to adjourn the committee at 2:41 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
