BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7800 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 8, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 137 (Sen. Geiss). 2. Testimony regarding SB 138 (Sen. Moss). 3. Testimony regarding SB 139 (Sen. Klinefelt). 4. Presentation from the Michigan Department of Transportation regarding Asset Management. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Hertel, Chang, Bellino, and Victory, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bellino to adopt the meeting minutes from February 11, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Wojno, McCann, McBroom, and Bumstead were excused from the meeting. The Chair summarized SB 137 – SB 139. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 137 – SB 139: Melissa Horste, Michigan Department of State – Support The Chair invited the Michigan Department of Transportation’s COO Gregg Brunner to give a presentation regarding the Department’s Asset Management. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee. Without objection, the committee was adjourned at 4:11 p.m.
