BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7888 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 23, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Regulatory Affairs was scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Room 403 of the 4th Floor. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation from Cannabis Regulatory Agency 2. Presentation from Michigan Cannabis Industry Association The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Santana, Hertel, Singh, Hauck, Webber and Bellino. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Polehanki to adopt the meeting minutes from March 20, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals for a presentation. Member questions followed. Brian Hanna, Executive Director, Cannabis Regulatory Agency Derek Sova, Legislative Assistant, Cannabis Regulatory Agency The Chair invited the following individuals for a presentation. Member questions followed Robin Schneider, Executive Director, Michigan Cannabis Industry Association Alex Adams, CEO, Cambium Analytica Douglas Mains, Chair, Cannabis Industry Group, Honigman Law. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Hauck to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Senators Lauwers and Wojno were excused from the meeting.
