BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-5100 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 5, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Energy and Environment was scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 246 (Sen. Camilleri). 2. Testimony regarding SB 247 (Sen. Camilleri). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:36 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) Singh, Bayer, Shink, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, Polehanki, Lauwers, Damoose, Outman, Hauck, and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to adopt the meeting minutes from March 6, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. Camilleri to summarize SB 246 and SB 247.
