- The Committee on Health Policy submitted the following: Meeting held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., Room 1100, Binsfeld Office Building Present: Senators Hertel (C), Santana, Wojno , Cherry, Klinefelt , Geiss, Webber, Huizenga and Runestad Excused: Senator Hauck The Committee on Elections and Ethics reported Senate Bill No. 529, entitled A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled “Michigan election law,” (MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding sections 483b, 544g, 590i, and 957a. With the recommendation that the bill pass. Jeremy Moss Chairperson To Report Out: Yeas: Senators Moss, Wojno , Santana, McMorrow and Chang Nays: Senator Johnson The bill was referred to the Committee of the Whole. The Committee on Elections and Ethics reported Senate Bill No. 530, entitled A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled “Michigan election law,” (MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding section 482g. With the recommendation that the bill pass.
