Reported SB 128 (S-1) (Sen. McCann) with recommendation. 2. Reported SB 200 (Sen. Singh) with recommendation. 3. Testimony regarding (S-1) and SB 267 (Sen. Geiss) 4. Reported SB 267 (S-1) (Sen. Geiss) with recommendation. 5. Testimony regarding SB 279 (Sen. Victory) The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Moss, Geiss, Victory and Lindsey The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Geiss to adopt the meeting minutes from October 30, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Moss to adopt the (S-1) version of SB128. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Moss, Geiss, Victory and Lindsey Nays: None Pass: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cavanagh to report the S-1 version of SB128 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Moss, Geiss, Victory and Lindsey Nays: None Pass: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. Page 2 of 3 The Chair read the card of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB 200: Ann Griffin, Michigan Humane - Support The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Polehanki to report SB 200 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Victory and Lindsey Nays: Sen.(s) Moss, Geiss Pass: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair invited Senator Geiss to explain SB 267 and (S-1) substitute. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 267 and (S-1) Ms. O.Rerhi Onomake, CEO of Global African Business Association - Support Mr. Akindele Akinyemi, Co-Founder of Global African Business Association - Support Dr. Victoria Akai, CEO of Duchess Naturals Limited - Support Mr. Tope Esan, CEO of Nathman Woolwich LLC - Support The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Geiss to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 267. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Moss, Geiss, Victory and Lindsey Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Geiss to report the S-1 version of SB 267 with the recommendation that the bill pass. The Chair invited Senator Victory to explain SB 279. Member questions followed. Lindsey to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Webber was excused from the meeting.
