BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7315 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES December 3, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Health Policy was scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., in the 1100 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 447 (Sen. Hertel). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:34 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Hertel, Sen.(s) Santana, Wojno, Klinefelt, Webber, and Huizenga, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Santana to adopt the meeting minutes from November 12, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Webber to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Cherry, Geiss, Hauck, and Runestad were excused from the meeting. The Chair summarized SB 447. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 447: Bruce Goodman, Michigan PANS/PANDAS Alliance – Support Dr. Susan Youngs, Patients with PANS/PANDAS – Support Lori Corteville, Citizen – Support Kim and Victor T., Citizens – Support Michelle Stackpoole, Citizen – Support Gary Driscoll, Citizen – Support Erin Brick, Citizen – Support Kristina Cope, Citizen – Support Rita Dougals, Citizen – Support The following cards were turned in of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB 447: Page 2 of 2 Linda Couley, Citizen – Support Barbara Juliano, Citizen – Support Susan Lazaroff, Citizen – Support Kharmon Cox, Citizen – Support Meghan Kirkman, Citizen – Support Rita Sabagh, Citizen – Support Christina Price, Citizen – Support Karla Ruest, PCMA – Oppose There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
