- COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES May 9, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Economic and Small Business Development was scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 12:00 noon, in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by Josh Nichols and Tyler Sawyer, of Crossbraining. 2. Presentation by Justin Winslow, Sara Anderson, and Larry Lynch, of the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 12:01 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Horn, Sen.(s) VanderWall, MacGregor, Theis, Lauwers, Schmidt, McMorrow, Geiss, and Moss; a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. McMorrow to adopt the meeting minutes from April 25, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Josh Nichols and Tyler Sawyer, of Crossbraining, to present regarding their organization. The Chairman invited Justin Winslow, Larry Lynch, and Sara Anderson, of the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association, to present regarding ServSuccess. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman moved to adjourn the committee.
