BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7946 FAX: (517) 373-2678 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 6, 2020 A joint meeting of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and the House Committee on Appropriations was scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., in the House Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation of Governor Whitmer's 2021 and 2022 budget recommendation. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. The Chairman welcomed Budget Director Chris Kolb and thanked the House Committee on Appropriations members for hosting this year's budget presentation. The Chairman instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Hertel, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman moved, supported by Sen. Hertel, to excuse absent members from the committee meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Barrett, Victory, and Hollier were excused. Budget Director Kolb presented Governor Whitmer's fiscal year 2021 and 2022 budget recommendations to the committees. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Hertel, supported by Sen.
