BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-3760 FAX: (517) 373-8661 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 16, 2020 A joint meeting of the Senate Committee on Environmental Quality and Senate Committee on Energy and Technology was scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., in the Senate Hearing Room of the Boji Tower. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentations by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources regarding the Department's Dam Management Program. The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Daley, Johnson, VanderWall, McBroom, Bayer, and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from June 10, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Senate Committee on Energy and Technology called roll. A quorum was present. Chair Outman invited Craig Brunet, Legislative Liaison, Jessica Mistack, Manager of the Fisheries Division, Joe Nohner, Resource Analyst, and Chip Kosloski, Program Manager of the Grants Management Section, of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to give presentations regarding the Department's Dam Management Program. Questions followed from members of both committees. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
