BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7708 FAX: (517) 373-1450 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES July 28, 2020 A joint meeting of the Senate Committee on Energy and Technology and Senate Committee on Environmental Quality was scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by the Four Lakes Task Force regarding the Edenville Dam The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Lauwers, Sen.(s) LaSata, Nesbitt, Barrett, Outman, Brinks and McMorrow, a quorum was present. At 1:02 p.m., the Chair recessed the committee. At 1:03 p.m., the Chair reconvened the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Nesbitt to adopt the meeting minutes from July 22, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Horn, Bumstead and McCann were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals from the Four Lakes Task Force for a presentation: Dave Kepler, President Four Lakes Task Force – No Position Ron Hanson, Spicer Group, Partner with Four Lakes Task Force – No Position There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
