The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 5699 (Rep. Tsernoglou), HB 5700 (Rep. Paiz), HB 5701 (Rep. Koleszar), HB 5702 (Rep. MacDonell) and HB 5583 (Rep. Byrnes). 2. Testimony regarding HB 5583 (Rep. Byrnes). 3. 4. 5. 6. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Wojno to adopt the meeting minutes from December 4, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Wojno, Santana, McMorrow, Chang, Johnson and McBroom, a quorum was present. The Chair invited Rep. Tsernoglou to explain HBs 5699-5702. Member questions followed. At 2:15 p.m., the Chair recessed the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Wojno to report HB 5699 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Wojno, Santana, McMorrow, Chang, Johnson, and McBroom. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McMorrow to report HB 5700 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Wojno, Santana, McMorrow, Chang, Johnson, and McBroom. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to report HB 5701 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
