The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 1131 (S-1) (Sen. McCann) with recommendation. 2. Reported SB 1132 (Sen. Bellino) with recommendation. 3. Reported SB 1133 (Sen. Cherry) with recommendation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:41 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, Singh, Bayer, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, Polehanki, Damoose, Outman, Hauck, and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McDonald Rivet to adopt the meeting minutes from June 5, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to adopt the meeting minutes from December 5, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Shink and Lauwers were excused from the meeting. The Chair offered, and summarized, an (S-1) version of SB 1131. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 1131. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, Singh, Bayer, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, Polehanki, Damoose, Outman, Hauck, and Bellino Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted.
