BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-5100 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 11, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Energy and Environment was scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 385 (Sen. Chang). 2. Testimony regarding SB 386 (Sen. Shink). 3. Testimony regarding SB 387 (Sen. McMorrow). 4. Testimony regarding SB 391 (Sen. Irwin). 5. Testimony regarding SB 392 (Sen. Moss). 6. Testimony regarding SB 393 (Sen. McCann). The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:37 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McCann, Sen.(s) Singh, Shink, Hertel, Chang, Polehanki, Damoose, Outman, and Hauck, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to adopt the meeting minutes from June 5, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Bayer, Camilleri, Lauwers, and Bellino were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited Sen. Camilleri to summarize SB 391 and SB 393. The Chair invited Sen. Shink to summarize SB 386. The Chair invited Sen. Chang to summarize SB 385. The Chair invited Rep. Morgan to summarize SB 392.
