BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2426 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 12, 2025 A Joint Meeting of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Agriculture and Senate Subcommittee on Agriculture and Natural Resources was scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in the Room 1100 of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Discussion Regarding SB 276 (Sen. Cherry) and SB 277 (Sen. Bumstead). The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Shink, Sen.(s) Cherry, Singh and Polehanki. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Polehanki, to adopt the meeting minutes from June 11, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Senators Daley, Victory and Hoitenga were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited Senator Cherry and Senator Bumstead to explain Senate Bills 276 and 277. Member questions followed.
