BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-0990 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 24, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Appropriations Subcommittee on DHHS was scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room of the 3rd Floor The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:45 p.m.. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Santana, Sen.(s) Cherry, Irwin, Cavanagh, Bayer, Klinefelt, Outman, Huizenga, Hauck and Theis The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Irwin, supported by Senator Bayer, to adopt the meeting minutes from May 1, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Cherry, supported by Senator Klinefelt, to adopt the Report on Potential Impacts of Federal Medicaid Cuts with the recommendation that the report be included in the official committee record. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Santana, Sen.(s) Cherry, Irwin, Cavanagh, Bayer and Klinefelt. Nays: Sen.(s) Outman, Huizenga, Hauck and Theis. Pass: None There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Senator Cherry, to adjourn the committee at 1:58 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
