Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 60 (Sen. Victory). 2. Testimony regarding SB 49 (Sen. LaSata). 3. Testimony regarding SB 11 (Sen. Theis). 4. Presentation regarding online gambling. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m. and announced that a quorum was not present. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Johnson, Zorn, Moss, Polehanki and Wojno were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 60: Sen. Roger Victory – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB 60: Jimmy Greene, Associated Builders and Contractors - Michigan – Support Diana Prichard, Americans for Prosperity – Support Ron Khoury, Operating Engineers Local #324 – Opposition The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 49: Sen. Kim LaSata – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB 49: David Marvin, Michigan Liquor Control Commission – Support Brett Visner, Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 11: Sen. Lana Theis – Support Page 1 of 2 Barb Byrum, Ingham County Clerk, Michigan Association of County Clerks – Opposition The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding online gambling. Rick Kalm, Michigan Gaming Control Board – No Position There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
