- COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 20, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on K-12 and Michigan Department of Education was scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room, 3rd Floor, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Schmidt, Sens. Outman, Bumstead, Daley and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Outman, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 13, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Community Engagement Advisory Committee: Heather Frick, Joyce Parker, and Rachel Richards, Department of Treasury There being no further business before the subcommittee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bumstead, to adjourn the committee at 9:24 a.m. Without objection, the subcommittee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
