COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 3, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor and Economic Opportunity/MEDC was scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room, 3rd Floor, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Horn, Sen.(s) Schmidt and Hollier, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 25, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding state matching fund requirements for Federal dollars in the State Historic Preservation Office Mark Rodman, Michigan Historic Preservation Network – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Disability Services Sara Grivetti, Disability Network of Michigan – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding appropriations to Graduation Alliance Greg Harp, Graduation Alliance – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Pure Michigan Amy Grossi, Barvarian Inn – Support Trevor Tkach, Traverse City Tourism – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Going Pro Alexa Kramer, Grand Rapids Chamber – Support Bruce Dieterle, Michigan Wheel – Support Ben Charlick, Michigan Wheel – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Center for Employment Opportunity Ashley Blake, Center for Employment Opportunity – Support Pamela Lachman, Center for Employment Opportunity – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Going Pro and Michigan Works!
