- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 12, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Universities and Community Colleges was scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room, 3rd Floor, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair LaSata, Sen.(s) Horn, Bizon, MacDonald, Zorn, Irwin and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Irwin, supported by Sen. Horn, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 5, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individual to present testimony regarding budget priorities for the Michigan Association of State Universities for fiscal year 2020-21: Dr. Dan Hurley, Michigan Association of State Universities There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Horn, to adjourn the committee at 3:38 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
