- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 5, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Universities and Community Colleges was scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room, 3rd Floor, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair LaSata, Sen.(s) Horn, Bizon, MacDonald, Zorn, Irwin and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon, supported by Sen. Irwin, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 27, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding college access and affordability in Michigan. Catherine Brown, Senior Adviser for Michigan, The Institute for College Access and Success There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Horn, to adjourn the committee at 3:19 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
