- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 12, 2022 A joint meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services and House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 8:00 a.m., in the 352 Room of the House Appropriations, State Capitol Building, Lansing, MI 48933. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Bizon, Daley, Huizenga, MacDonald, and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon, supported by Sen. Huizenga, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 23, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Judith Fischer Wollack, CEO, Wolverine Human Services – No Position Michael Williams, CEO, Orchards Children's Services – No Position Bob Ennis, CEO, Ennis Center for Children – No Position Josh Swaninger, CEO, Spectrum Human Services – No Position Tom Krolicki, Wolverine Human Services – No Position Stacie Bowens, Spectrum Human Services – No Position Rachel Sykes, Samaritas – No Position Mary Muliett, CEO and President, D.A. Blodgett – No Position At 8:06 a.m., Sen. Jeff Irwin entered the meeting. At 8:07 a.m., Sen. Wayne Schmidt entered the meeting. At 8:17 a.m., Sen. Kimberly LaSata entered the meeting. At 8:27 a.m., Sen. Sylvia Santana entered the meeting. At 8:56 a.m., Sen.(s) John Bizon and Kimberly LaSata left the meeting. At 8:57 a.m., Sen. Winnie Brinks left the meeting. Page 1 of 2 The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Daley, supported by Sen. Huizenga, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Hollier was excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Daley, to adjourn the committee at 9:03 a.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
