- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 23, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:32 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) LaSata, MacDonald, Schmidt, Huizenga, Santana, Irwin, Brinks and Hollier, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Huizenga, supported by Sen. MacDonald, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Bizon was excused from the meeting. At 12:34 p.m., Sen. Kevin Daley entered the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Daley, supported by Sen. LaSata, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 16, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2022-23 Executive Recommendation for the Medicaid Dental Program. Kate Massey, Senior Deputy Director of the Health and Aging Services Administration and Farah Hanley, Chief Deputy Director for Health, Department of Health and Human Services The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2022-23 Executive Recommendation for the Medicaid Dental Program. Dr. Deborah Brown, CEO, My Community Dental Centers At 1:05 p.m., Sen. Sylvia Santana left the meeting. At 1:08 p.m., Sen. Sylvia Santana entered the meeting.
