- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 15, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The Majority Vice Chair called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Majority Vice Chair Bizon, Sen.(s) Daley, Huizenga, Santana, Irwin, and Brinks, a quorum was present. At 8:31 a.m., Sen. Rick Outman entered the meeting. The Majority Vice Chair John Bizon, M.D. invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Governor Whitmer’s proposed FY 2022-23 Budget Recommendation. Paula Kaiser Van Dam, Department of Health and Human Services- Director of the Bureau of Community Services Lynn Hendges, Department of Health and Human Services- Housing Services Section Manager Debi Cain, Department of Health and Human Services- Director of the Michigan Division of Victim Services At 8:32 a.m., Sen. Wayne Schmidt entered the meeting. At 8:34 a.m., Sen. Michael MacDonald entered the meeting. At 8:54 a.m., Sen. Adam Hollier entered the meeting. At 8:54 a.m., Sen. Kevin Daley left the meeting. At 9:00 a.m., Sen.(s) John Bizon and Wayne Schmidt left the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Governor Whitmer’s proposed FY 2022-23 Budget Recommendation. Santana, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. LaSata was excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. MacDonald, to adjourn the committee at 9:39 a.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
