- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 22, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Schmidt, Huizenga, Santana, Irwin and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon, supported by Sen. Daley, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 15, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Governor's FY 2022-23 DHHS budget. Richie Farran, Healthcare Association of Michigan At 8:54 a.m., Sen. John Bizon left the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Governor's FY 2022-23 DHHS budget. Stephanie Winslow and Luke Reynolds, PACE Association of Michigan At 8:58 a.m., Sen.(s) Winnie Brinks, Kimberly LaSata and Wayne Schmidt left the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Governor's FY 2022-23 DHHS budget. Mike Logan, Michigan Masonic Home and LeadingAge MI The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Santana, supported by Sen. Huizenga, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Hollier was excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
