- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 22, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Schmidt, Santana, Irwin and Brinks, a quorum was present. Steve Angelotti, John Maxwell, and Ellyn Ackerman provided an overview of Senator Outman's proposed FY 2021-22 Department of Health and Human Services budget. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bizon, to adopt the meeting minutes from April 13, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Senator Irwin spoke on the proposed bill Senator Santana spoke on the proposed bill The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bizon, The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, and Schmidt. Nays: Sen.(s) Santana, Irwin, and Brinks. The motion prevailed and the bill was referred. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 79. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bizon, to adjourn the committee at 3:39 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
