- COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 16, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:02 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Schmidt, Santana, Irwin, Brinks and Hollier, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Bizon, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 9, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Stacie Bladen, Interim Director - Children's Services Agency, Michigan Department of Health and Human Service – No Position Judith Wollack and Paul Whitney, Association of Accredited Child and Family Agencies; Wolverine Human Services – No Position Janet Reynolds Snyder, Michigan Federation for Children and Families – No Position Rachel Sykes, Samaritas/Lutheran Adoption Services – No Position Sonia Noorman, West Michigan Partnership for Children – No Position There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
