- **APPROVED** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 22, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation was scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 12:00 noon, in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Schmidt, Sen.(s) Hollier and Bayer, a quorum was not present. Senator MacDonald arrived at 12:17 p.m.. Senator Hollier left at 12:22 p.m.. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding passenger rail from Ann Arbor to Traverse City: James Bruckbauer, Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities – Support The Chair noted that written testimony was offered to the subcommittee in support of passenger rail from Ann Arbor to Traverse City from: Steven Vagnozzi, Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding local road projects. John LaMacchia, Michigan Municipal League – No Position In the absence of a quorum, the draft minutes of the meeting of February 15, 2022 were not approved. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee. Without objection, the committee was adjourned at 12:39 p.m. Page 1 of 1
