- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT REP. JAY DEBOYER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, June 25, 2026 10:45 AM Room 352, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Oversight was called to order by Chair DeBoyer. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. DeBoyer, Bierlein, Meerman, Paquette, Carra, Bruck, Rigas, Schriver, Woolford, Lightner, Miller, Pohutsky, Conlin, MacDonell, Mentzer and Wegela. Absent: Rep. Jaime Greene. Excused: Rep. Jaime Greene. Due to Representative Jaime Greene being absent, the Chair elevated Representative Lightner. Representative Miller moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 23, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a discussion on the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Eric Eggan, Pat Fischer, representing Putt Putt Tavern, Raymond Millen, representing the American Legion, and Jeremy Mitchell gave testimony on the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Questions and discussion followed. Executive Director Henery Williams, Director of External Affairs and Responsible Gaming and Tribal Liaison Jasmine Tompkins, John Lessnau, and Aaron Poncgraz, representing the Michigan Gaming Control Board, gave testimony on the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Schriver moved to excuse Representative Jaime Greene from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
