- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 15, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Natural Resources was scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 12:00 noon, in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cherry, Sen.(s) Shink, Singh, Bumstead and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis, supported by Sen. Cherry, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 8, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Department of Natural Resources' forestry activities and appropriations needs for replacing forestry equipment and increasing department staff. Jeff Stampfly and Erik Eklund, Department of Natural Resources – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
