- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 27, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on DHHS was scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon, in the Rooms 402/403, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Santana, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, Irwin, Cavanagh, Cherry, Bayer, Outman, Hauck and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion to adopt the meeting minutes from February 22, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Amy Epkey, Senior Deputy Director of the Financial Operations Administration - Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – No Position Meghan Groen, Senior Deputy Director of the Behavioral and Physical Health and Aging Services Administration - Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – No Position Dr. George Mellos, Senior Deputy Director of the State Hospital Administration - Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – No Position The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Alan Bolter, Associate Director of the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan – No Position Connie Conklin, CEO of Livingston County Community Mental Health – No Position Tammy Warner, Executive Director of Montcalm Care Network – No Position Trish Cortes, Executive Director of Washtenaw County Community Mental Health – No Position Matt Maskart, CEO of Pathways Community Mental Health – No Position At 12:50 p.m., Sen. Roger Hauck left the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee. Without objection, the committee was adjourned at 1:18 p.m. Page 1 of 1
