- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 14, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on DHHS was scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., in the Rooms 402/403, Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Santana, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, Irwin, Cavanagh, Bayer, Outman, Huizenga, and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. McDonald Rivet, to adopt the meeting minutes from April 25, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. At 3:31 p.m., Sen. Roger Hauck entered the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Elizabeth Hertel, Director and Amy Epkey, Senior Deputy Director-Financial Operations, Department of Health and Human Services At 3:55 p.m., Sen. Kristen McDonald Rivet left the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Irwin, to adjourn the committee at 4:20 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
