- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION REP. MATT KOLESZAR CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, January 24, 2023 9:00 AM Room 521, House Office Building The House Committee on Education was called to order by Chair Koleszar. The Clerk read the letters from House Speaker Joe Tate which appointed members of the House Committee on Education. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Koleszar, Churches, Shannon, Stone, Weiss, Glanville, Conlin, Edwards, Wegela, Greene, Markkanen, Wendzel, Johnsen. Absent: Rep. Paquette. Excused: Rep. Paquette. Representative Churches moved to adopt Room 521, Tuesdays, at 9 am, as the standing Room, Day, and Time of the committee. The motion prevailed 13-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Koleszar, Churches, Shannon, Stone, Weiss, Glanville, Conlin, Edwards, Wegela, Greene, Markkanen, Wendzel, Johnsen. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair stated that the committee would follow the committee rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. Representative Greene moved to excuse Representative Paquette from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Koleszar adjourned the meeting at 9:12 AM.
