- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 21, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on DHHS was scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Santana, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, Cavanagh, Cherry, Huizenga and Hauck, a quorum was present. At 8:31 a.m., Sen. Rosemary Bayer entered the meeting. A quorum was now present. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Governor Whitmer's Proposed FY 2023-24 DHHS Budget. Elizabeth Hertel, Director, Department of Health and Human Services – Support At 8:34 a.m., Sen.(s) Darrin Camilleri and Lana Theis entered the meeting. At 8:38 a.m., Sen. Jeff Irwin entered the meeting. At 8:39 a.m., Sen. Rick Outman entered the meeting. At 8:53 a.m., Sen. Darrin Camilleri left the meeting. At 8:55 a.m., Sen. Mark Huizenga left the meeting. At 8:56 a.m., Sen. Lana Theis left the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Irwin, to adjourn the committee at 9:33 a.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
