- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 6, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on LEO/MEDC was scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, Camilleri, Huizenga and Bumstead, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. McDonald Rivet, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 28, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Going Pro Stephanie Beckhorn, Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Community Development Financial Institutions. Elissa Sangalli and Jennifer Hayes, Michigan CDFI Coalition – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. McDonald Rivet, to adjourn the committee at 3:55 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
