- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 28, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on LEO/MEDC was scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, Camilleri, Huizenga and Bumstead, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McDonald Rivet, supported by Sen. Cavanagh, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 21, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2024-25 Executive Budget Recommendation. Josh Hunts and Amy Adams, Michigan Economic Development Corporation – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding a new path to prosperity. Lou Glazer and Donald Crimes, Michigan Future, Inc There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McDonald Rivet, supported by Sen. Cavanagh, to adjourn the committee at 4:10 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
