- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 27, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on LEO/MEDC was scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 9:15 a.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:21 a.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, Camilleri, Huizenga and Bumstead, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McDonald Rivet, supported by Sen. McCann, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 22, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McDonald Rivet, supported by Sen. Cavanagh, to adopt the McDonald Rivet amendment #1a to the (S-1) version of SB 194. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, and Camilleri. Nays: Sen.(s) Huizenga and Bumstead. The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. Motion by Senator McDonald Rivet, supported by Senator McMorrow, to adopt SB 194, as amended. Roll call vote: Yes: Cavanagh, McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, Camilleri. No: Huizenga, Bumstead. SB 194 (S-1), as amended, is adopted. Motion by McDonald Rivet, supported by Senator Camilleri, to report SB 194 (S-1), as amended, to the Full Appropriations Committee. Roll Call: Yes: Cavanagh, McDonald Rivet, McCann, McMorrow, Camilleri. No: Huizenga, Bumstead. SB 194 (S-1), as amended, is reported. Page 1 of 2 There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
