- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 22, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on MDE was scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Bayer, Sen.(s) Klinefelt and Albert, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt, supported by Sen. Albert, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 9, 2023 and April 27, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2024-25 Executive recommendation for the Department of Education budget. Dr. Michael Rice and Dr. Diane Golzynski, Department of Education – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Klinefelt, to adjourn the committee at 9:47 a.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
