- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 27, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation was scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Klinefelt, Sen.(s) Hertel, McCann, Camilleri, Damoose and Bumstead, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Hertel, supported by Sen. Camilleri, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 16, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Camilleri, to adopt the Klinefelt amendment #1a to the (S-1) version of SB 178. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Klinefelt, Sen.(s) Hertel, McCann, and Camilleri. Nays: Sen.(s) Damoose and Bumstead. The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McCann, supported by Sen. Camilleri, to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 178. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Klinefelt, Sen.(s) Hertel, McCann, and Camilleri. Nays: Sen.(s) Damoose and Bumstead. The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. Vote to report the substitute The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Klinefelt, Sen.(s) Hertel, McCann, and Camilleri. Nays: Sen.(s) Damoose and Bumstead. The motion prevailed. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
