- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON LABOR REP. JIM HAADSMA CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 2, 2023 9:00 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Committee on Labor was called to order by Chair Haadsma. The Clerk read in a letter from House Speaker Joe Tate appointing members to the House Labor Committee. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Haadsma, Mentzer, Koleszar, O'Neal, Andrews, Churches, Wegela, Wozniak, Mueller, Kunse. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representatives Andrews, Wegela, Mueller and Kunse joined the committee remotely. Representative Wozniak moved to adopt Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in Room 326 of the House Office Building as the standing day, time, and location for meetings of the House Committee on Labor. The motion prevailed 6-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Haadsma, Mentzer, Koleszar, O'Neal, Churches, Wozniak. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair stated that the Committee on Labor will follow the committee rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. Chair Haadsma made welcoming remarks and asked the members of the committee to introduce themselves. Minority Vice Chair Wozniak made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:06 AM.
