- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS REP. ANGELA WITWER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 8, 2023 11:00 AM State Room, Heritage Hall 100 S. Capitol Avenue Lansing, MI 48933 The House Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Witwer. The House Standing Committee on Appropriations was meeting jointly with the Senate Standing Committee on Appropriations. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Witwer, O'Neal, Brixie, Hood, Brabec, Morse, Puri, Steckloff, Weiss, Martus, McKinney, Mentzer, Morgan, Price, Skaggs, Snyder, Wilson, Lightner, Bollin, Green, Slagh, Beson, Borton, Fink, Cavitt, De Boer, Kuhn, Schuette, Steele. Absent: None. Excused: None. The Chair laid the presentation on the Fiscal Year 2024 and 2025 Budget before the committee. Governor Whitmer presented the 2024 and 2024 Budget Recommendations. Questions and discussion followed. Budget Director Christopher Harkins gave a presentation on the 2024 and 2025 Budget Recommendations. Questions and discussion followed. Majority Vice-Chair O'Neal made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 12:19 PM. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
