- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON HIGHER EDUCATION REP. CAROL GLANVILLE CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 8, 2023 10:30 AM Room 326, House Office Building The House Committee on Higher Education was called to order by Chair Glanville. The Clerk read the letter from House Speaker Joe Tate which appointed members of the House Committee on Higher Education. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Glanville, Rheingans, Koleszar, Scott, Byrnes, Coffia, Hill, MacDonell, VanderWall, Paquette, Zorn, DeSana, Kunse. Absent: Rep. Paiz. Excused: Rep. Paiz. Representative Rheingans moved to adopt Room 326, Wednesdays, at 10:30 am, as the standing Room, Day, and Time of the committee. The motion prevailed 13-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Glanville, Rheingans, Koleszar, Scott, Byrnes, Coffia, Hill, MacDonell, VanderWall, Paquette, Zorn, DeSana, Kunse. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair stated that the House Committee on Higher Education would follow the committee rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. Representative Rheingans moved to excuse Representative Paiz from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
