BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7800 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 507 (Sen. Lauwers). 2. Testimony regarding SB 532 (Sen. Cherry). The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Hertel, Chang, McCann, Bellino, and Victory, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt to adopt the meeting minutes from June 10, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Wojno, McBroom, and Bumstead were excused from the meeting. The Chair invited Jill Larder, from Sen. Lauwers’ office, to summarize SB 507. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 507: Karen Straffon, Citizen – Support The following cards were read in of those individuals not wishing to present testimony regarding SB 507: Erin Schor, Michigan Department of State – Support The Chair invited Sen. Cherry to summarize SB 532. The following cards were read in of those individuals not wishing to present testimony regarding SB 532: Erin Schor, Michigan Department of State – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
