LAURIE POHUTSKY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, March 2, 2023 10:30 AM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation was called to order by Chair Pohutsky. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Pohutsky, Hill, Shannon, Arbit, McFall, Paiz, Martin, Tisdel, Schriver. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative McFall moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 2, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy before the committee. The Chair invited Dan Eichinger, Acting Director, and Travis Boeskool, Legislative Liaison, of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy to give the presentation. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid a presentation on the Michigan United Conservation Clubs before the committee. The Chair invited Amy Trotter, Executive Director, and Tim Muir Jr., Executive Board President, of the Michigan United Conservations Clubs to give the presentation. Questions and discussion followed.
